Your projects stay on your Mac

Speech recognition, script comparison and review run locally. The app does not upload scripts, audio, transcripts, issue text or review notes to our account service or a cloud AI model. It keeps up to 50 recent projects, including audio copies and review records, in local application storage. You can delete projects from the app's history. Copying an export puts it on your clipboard; sharing it with another service is your choice.

Accounts, usage and activation

We use Supabase to authenticate accounts and manage free usage, licenses and registered devices. This service processes your verified email address, account ID, sign-in information, a random installation identifier, device registration, activation status, project and operation identifiers, and usage timestamps. Project identifiers do not contain your script, audio or filename. These records support login, quota enforcement, license verification, abuse prevention and support.

If you choose Google sign-in, Google and Supabase process the authentication. Basic profile information, such as your name and profile picture, may be stored with the authentication identity. Proof Take requests email and basic profile access; it does not request access to your Gmail messages, Drive files or contacts.

Email sign-in sends a one-time code through the configured mail provider. During testing, delivery uses Gmail SMTP. The recipient email address and the login email are processed by the mail provider. Login credentials and the device's signed license are stored in the macOS Keychain. An activated device's offline license can remain valid for up to 30 days before it needs an online refresh.

Website and updates

Cloudflare hosts this website. The site stores your language preference in your browser. We do not add advertising trackers or third-party analytics scripts. Hosting, authentication and mail providers may process network and request information, including IP addresses, for delivery, security and service operation.

When an update source is enabled, the app checks that source and downloads signed update packages. Update requests do not contain your scripts, audio or review content.

Retention and your choices

Signing out keeps local history and does not automatically unregister the Mac. You can manage registered devices in the account panel. Account, license and usage records are retained as needed to operate those services. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion of account data; we may need to verify account ownership. Local history must be removed on your Mac. Server-side deletion or revocation may take up to 30 days to affect an offline device.

Service providers process data under their own applicable terms and privacy policies: Supabase, Google, and Cloudflare. Infrastructure may process account and request data outside your country. We update this page when our data handling changes.
