No. Proof Take compares the words it recognizes with your script and flags possible differences for you to confirm. It's a fast way to find likely slips, not a guarantee that the whole take is perfect, and it can't rate emotion or delivery.
Your script, audio, transcript and issues stay on your Mac. Activation sends only the key and generic device model name to Dodo; verification and deactivation send only the key and instance ID. Dodo acts as merchant of record for purchases and payments.
The 14-day trial starts with your first admitted check, not when you install the app. After it ends, you cannot start a new check, including a new project, take or recheck. History, review, listening, notes, confirming or dismissing issues, and export remain available.

Yes. Import the full audio from your AI voiceover or TTS tool together with the original script to check for suspected misread, missing or extra words. It also works with human recordings and voiceovers. Proof Take compares recognized words with the script; it does not judge pronunciation, tone or audio quality.
English and Chinese scripts, in an English or Simplified Chinese interface. Mixed-language reading is still being tested.
Proof Take checks how words sound. Different characters with the same pronunciation aren’t treated as misreads; differences in pronunciation or tone are still flagged for you to confirm.
No sign-in is needed for the trial. An activated license works offline for 30 days after its last successful verification. A seven-day grace period follows those 30 days, with a notice to connect and verify; after 37 days, starting checks is paused. The app attempts automatic online verification when more than three days have passed since the last success, with at least six hours between automatic attempts. You can also verify manually. Temporary verification failures retain the license. Refunded or revoked keys stop allowing new checks when verification confirms they are revoked or missing. History and review remain available offline.
Choose “Deactivate This Mac” on the old Mac, then activate on the new one. Each license can be active on up to two Macs.
